Crew 320 participated in the "Neuse River Venture Adventure Race" at Camp Durant April 13-15, 2012, and came in 2^nd overall!  Check here for pictures.

 

The race consisted of venture crew teams mountain biking, treking, paddling and navigating their way to checkpoint flags.  At the checkpoints, the teams has challenges to complete before moving on.  The course was not marked other than the checkpoint flags themselves.  Scoring was based on the accumulated point values of the checkpoints found. Some checkpoints were worth more than others, so teams had to use their brains as well as their bodies as they work out a winning strategy for accumulating the most points!
